Well, it’s day 4 and I’m pretty far behind. Weekends will do that to you. After working during the week, I like to relax on the weekend and I did just that. But I also unpacked and got started on arranging my writing room. (I recently moved so my writing room is filled with a bunch of boxes right now). It’s actually my very first room dedicated to that. I honestly wonder how often I’ll actually write in there since I have a laptop. Needless to say, I slacked on writing this weekend. Which means I have a lot of making up to do. I think I’m supposed to be on about 5,000 words right now? Yeah, I’m on 2,929. Woohoo! I’ll get there. It’s still early in the month.

In other news, Pieces of Me is on sale on Amazon.com for $0.99 for a limited time. And I just found out that Gayle Forman will be in Decatur, GA this Thursday night. I really enjoyed her If I stay and Where She Went books. Her writing is really good. It’s emotional, funny, and the narrators were real. Although, I must admit that I preferred Where She Went because I loved how she wrote from the guy, Adam’s perspective. I remember a writing teacher told me once that I wasn’t experienced enough to write from a male perspective. So how are you supposed to know if you’re experienced enough? (how does one become experienced to write from a different perspective)? I ignored her and wrote it anyway. Since then, I wrote a detective series from a male perspective and I really liked it. Although, it needs work, but I thought I did a good job. Unless I’m completely naive.

Whenever I can get the first novel of my Enchanter series edited, I plan on posting the prologue and chapter 1 on here. I need a graphic designer too. Anyone?
